Back in the Desert Again

1st 2:  Soaptree Yuccas with flowers
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I had a nice hike in the desert this morning, following our normal route on what promised, weather-wise, to be a hot day.  It was already quite toasty when we were out there.  Headed for a high of 93F this afternoon.

Probably the most interesting thing we saw during our trek was Soaptree Yucca fruit infested with aphids.  It never occurred to me that those plants might be susceptible to infestation, but I'm not sure why I thought that.

We took a short drive after our outing before returning home.
