Getting Close to 100

Western Kingbird
It was quite warm when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I started our hike this morning; there was a slight breeze to ameliorate the heat, but we could still feel the coming oppressiveness.  In a few days we'll be topping the century mark; not unexpected for mid June.

We saw nobody else during our trek today, although the black side-by-side was exiting LDR as we were about to turn into the upper flatland road.  The driver got an early start on his desert outing.
