After the Heavy Rain

Pure relaxation
The photos of the rabbit and the three Coyotes who visited the waterhole at the Chihuahuan Observation Center came before the deluge.  The rest of the photos were taken this morning.  Last night's downpour--much-needed precipitation--really pounded the area.  After praying for rain for so long, it was simply ironic that the violent thunderstorm at midnight this morning caused the bathroom skylight to leak a little.  Those Coyotes look like they could use a good meal.

Those coyotes look skinny to me. These are some of your best photos, Packrat.

Glad to see that you finally got some rain. Have you had issues with smoke clogging the sky in your area? It feels like the apocalypse has arrived in Albuquerque. I swear, there was a coating of ash on my car when I went out this morning!

This Arizona fire is getting pretty scary! 300,000+ acres and 0% containment with 2300 firefighters working on it. Crazy

We're not getting the smoke, fortunately. That Arizona fire, which is approaching Luna, New Mexico now, is almost 400,000 acres. Scary, indeed!
