Thursday Two-Step

The flank of Tortugas Mountain and the Organs
We did a long hike this morning, and the temperature wasn't too bad.  A slight breeze made the heat bearable.  We encountered one hiker on the loop trail--a tall, thin guy we've met before--and then we ran into Lucien and his dog, Pappis, when we got back to the parking area.  Although Becca had done a long hike, you'd never have known it from the way she and Pappis played together, running around like mad dogs, slamming into each other.  I could tell Pappis was really happy to see Becca.
