We're experiencing a bit of a warmup, though it was cool on the trail this morning.  We ran into a woman whose dog was a long-haired version of Becca.  She (the woman, not Becca) and I laughed over the coincidence.  The dogs got along, but Becca never let her hackles down.  It's the Queensland Heeler in her.  I've read that Australian Cattle Dogs are naturally suspicious of everything.
