Tortoise Mountain

Early morning in the mountain foothills
Very chilly this morning when we hit the trail--low 40s.  Fortunately, the breeze was gentle.  We ran into only one other person today, a woman jogger who thanked us for stepping off the trail to let her pass.  We did a moderately-long hike, starting from the Sunset Parking area, heading along the Foothills Trail, dropping down to the Crosscut Trail and then looping back up into the foothills.
