Slog for the Blog

Becca and I did a lot of bushwhacking this morning, staying off the well-trodden trails as much as possible.  We saw only one other human being--at a great distance--a guy who was driving his SUV along a road on the south mesa.  After he parked in the middle of nowhere we  heard the retorts from the high-powered rifle he was shooting.  Gives one pause for thought.
