High Country Work Day

Starting off in a low-country shadow

After Becca and I did a short hike west of Tortugas this morning we headed home, showered (me, not Becca), then headed up to High Rolls with Dr. K to check things out and to do work.  Our well man had already replaced our float switch and water line filter, and the system is working okay.  The water in the house seems to be running clear.   I even had to shower again here after using a grass whip to knock down the huge grass and weeds that had grown high since our last visit three weeks ago.  By the way, according to our rain gauge we'd gotten 4.16 inches since then.  So far today we've added .23" more.  Good thing we got that work done before the downpour.
