Rain Delay

On Tortugas's north side
It was raining when I let Becca out to do her business this morning.  After breakfast, when the rain let up a bit, I took her over to Tortugas to try to get in a brief hike.  It was very brief: before we'd gone even a quarter mile we had to turn around because of heavier precipitation.  I ran some errands, had lunch, and then took Becca out to the north side of the mountain for a quick hike; then we drove up to the Sierra Vista Trail and trekked a little more.  We got sprinkled on, but not really wet.

In "An arroyo that comes out of the Organs," the yuccas look like emerald fireworks. Neat!

So you're saying that Becca had 3 hikes today? She's a lucky girl!
