| Heading up the Osha Trail |
It was quite cold in the high country this morning as Dr. K, Becca and I did a hike on the Osha Trail outside of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. After yesterday's hailstorm here in High Rolls, at 7,000 feet, we weren't surprised to find snow at 9,000 feet, but there was more of it than we'd imagined. Nevertheless, much of the trail was clear and not particularly muddy, so we enjoyed our trek very much. Afterwards we dumped garbage in the village of Cloudcroft, and then stopped at Family Dollar to buy some supplies for the cabin. All told, a satisfying and productive trip.
