Labor Day Weekend

Spam of Ages?
Not surprisingly, because of the long holiday weekend, there were a lot of outdoor enthusiasts on and about the mountain.  The only ones I really resented were the nimrods on dirt bikes who ruined the peaceful silence with the constant revving of their internal combustion engines.  We did run into our buddy Gregg on the way back, and I stood talking to him for about fifteen minutes while Becca lay in the shade of a Creosote Bush in order to cool off.  It wasn't that hot this morning, but the humidity was super high.

I like seeing the delicate wings of the dragonfly; it's a nice, close-up view.
