Hitch in Her Giddy Up

Heading west on Geothermal Road
Because Dr. K's knee has been bothering her we decided to do a level hike in an area west of Tortugas Mountain we've never explored before.  We headed past the lineworker school grounds, following several dirt utility roads alongside telephone poles.  We managed to get away from the electrical grid by hiking through the large arroyo west of the mountain, but we spent most of our time on dirt roads.  Fortunately Dr. K's knee got no worse for wear during our trek and is, in fact, feeling better now because of the exercise.
