Rain!

Raindrops on a slender Cholla
It rained on and off through the night, and it was still raining this morning when we got up.  A little before 8:00 I took Becca out to Tortugas Mountain because the local radar map showed an upcoming clearing that didn't happen.  She and I were unable to get out of the car so we came home.  I have been waiting ever since in hopes that the rain will subside, but prospects look bleak.  Perhaps we'll have to take our daily morning hike later this afternoon, in which case I'll do a second blog post.  These images are from the area immediately around our house.

Nice close-ups of the raindrops. You always find something beautiful to photograph, Packrat.
