Day Four

This trail will take me to the high foothills
Today was the fourth morning I hiked without Becca, and I'm starting to miss her presence more and more.  I did take her for a ride this afternoon, and she was plenty excited to get out of the house.  Becca has always been a "spinner," and I've never been able to break her of that habit; so I worry constantly about her twirling dervish routine vis-a-vis her sprained leg.  There's not much I can do besides the "No!" command, but that only slows her down for a brief moment.  She has a few more days off before getting back on the trail.

Those photos of the yucca flowers are so clear and detailed, they really capture the beauty of the blossoms. Both Becca and I wish we could have gone with you on your hike today.
