Eastsiders

Fun with cairns
Dr. K, Becca and I did a hike out of the Monte Vista area of Tortugas Mountain this morning.  There were a few people in the parking area, but we didn't encounter anyone until the end of our trek.  A group of people with rescue dogs was training in the arroyos and near the ramada, but we had no direct contact with them.  Becca scoffed at the supposedly well-trained canines knowing that her obedience schooling would shame any of the lot.
