Sunday Three-For-All

Partway up the mountain
Dr. K, Becca and I headed straight for the far side of Tortugas Mountain this morning; only one truck was parked in the lot at the Monte Vista area.  We encountered several hikers and several mountain bikers during our trek, but nobody else.  The weather was cool, but very humid, and Dr. K and I worked up a sweat during the hike.  Becca did only a little sweating from the bottom of her paws, but she panted a lot.  Nevertheless, we all had a good time on our jaunt in the northern Chihuahuan Desert.  There were only two cars in the parking lot upon our return.
Photographed a lot of yellow flowers today

This is the flower beside Becca in the following image

This and the rest:  more yellow flowers

It's amazing how much shade Becca can find just from a yucca plant.
