Low Country to High

This morning's moon
Becca and I did a shorter than normal hike this morning so we could return early and finish getting ready for a weekend trip to the high country, where we are now.  The weather here is nice--sunny with clear skies--but much cooler than in the low desert; in fact, we're supposed to dip to 39F tonight, ten degrees cooler than Las Cruces.  We'll do a few hikes and take care of several chores up here before returning to the low country on Sunday.

The fall colors seem unusually vivid here in the high country. What a treat!
