Why So Humid?

This and the next two:  lots of jet activity this morning
The humidity was at 90% when Becca and I headed for the mountain this morning, and even though the temperature was a cool 54F I had to remove my lightweight Marmot PreCip jacket before we'd even hiked a quarter of the way on our intended trek.  Although I wore a light long-sleeve shirt and thin hiking trousers the sun made it feel pretty warm out in the desert.  A breeze picked up every once in a while to hint at cooler conditions, but it didn't last long enough to really do the trick.  Despite the slight discomfort both Becca and I had a good time trekking in the desert west of Tortugas Mountain.
