Another Geothermal Trek

A little House finch
We got a bit earlier start on our morning hike today, but the area around Geothermal Road was somewhat crowded because more people are off work and school due to the coronavirus pandemic.

We encountered several hikers with dogs--fortunately both on leads.  That fact didn't stop Frio and Willow from barking and whining at them.  No interaction like yesterday, though, thank god.

The sky was overcast during our entire trek, and it's rained a bit this afternoon.  Chances for precipitation are supposed to go up later today.  It's been a fairly rainy month of March in the northern Chihuahuan Desert so far.
