Decent Hike

First 3:  takes on the same Desert Marigold
The four of us had a nice morning hike in our now regular trekking grounds southwest of Tortugas Mountain.  Although it was hot there was a slight breeze to help ameliorate the heat.  The Heelers didn't seem to mind the conditions too much, though Willow likes to plop down in shadow wherever she finds it.

We saw nobody else in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert, though there were a few vehicles parked at the Tellbrook/Sonoma Ranch corner.  In the past few days we've seen many construction-related trucks of the dump and concrete-making variety coming and going along Tellbrook, probably due to ongoing building in the Tierra Escondida subdivision.
