Critter Encounter X 3

First 2:  hot air balloon over the NM desert
This morning's trek was a bit dicey because we encountered not one, not two, but three different critters:  two jackrabbits and one cottontail.  Unfortunately, both Willow and Frio were more than ready to pursue.  It was a bit of a struggle to hold them back.

Way up in the source of Left Branch Arroyo we happened upon another blooming Torrey Yucca, and I had to maneuver around quite a bit to get photos of it.  Fortunately, the Heelers were cooperative and followed along willingly.

There were a few extra Claret Cup Hedgehog Cacti in flower today, and I got some good images of them.

Nice photos of the beautiful Hedgehog Claret Cup flowers. And I'm glad you found another blooming Yucca in the desert.
