1st 2: early morning sky from our backyard
|
Really bad weather for our morning hike today; in fact, we were on the trail for ten minutes when, after Willow did her business, we decided to turn around and head back.
On the way to the CR-V I suggested to Dr. K that she wait in the vehicle while I took Frio and Willow for a short hike. She agreed.
I trekked with them in awfully cold, windy conditions down the right branch to the junction with the middle, turned around and headed back. An occasional fine sleet pellet fell during our outing.
I don't know about the Heelers, but I was happy to get back to the CR-V and climb inside away from the wind.
