Desert Marigold |
We did our usual trek today, and all involved--Dr. K, Willow, Frio and me--enjoyed the outing. Due to the cloud cover (smoke, perhaps) the temperature was noticeably cooler than yesterday.
I got some nice photos of desert plants in bloom during our peregrinations, and we even spotted a Hedgehog Cactus sporting fruit we'd never noticed before.

Beautiful images of the desert flowers. My favorite is the close-up of the Ocotillo flower.
