Already Toasty

Scott's Oriole losing a tail feather
It was plenty hot when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I hit the trail this morning.  We're headed for the century mark today, predicted to make 100F by afternoon.

There was a sporadic breeze that brought a bit of evaporative cooling relief while we hiked our normal route, but it wasn't much of an aid.

It seems that we're stuck in this heat wave for the next few days; that's what living in the desert is all about.

Same Scott's Oriole
