Another Hot Sunday

Yuccas and Ocotillos on a hill
Plenty hot when we started off this morning (76F), and we're headed for a high of 101F today.  This heat is unreal; we can't recall another September that's been like this one.  We're at least 13 degrees above the average temperature for the month.

The weather is supposed to change up this Wednesday with a cooler air mass coming through, raising the chance for some much-needed precipitation.

We did the regular route today, seeing only one other outdoor enthusiast during our outing; somebody was coming south on LDR, but we never got a second glimpse of him/her.

On the way home we drove over to our local Circle K to gas up the CR-V.
