Different Kind of Desert Day

Organ Mountains
Only a trio of hikers this morning as Dr. K stayed home to finish packing for her trip to San Francisco.

Willow, Frio and I did our usual trek under a heavily clouded sky; there's a chance of rain this afternoon.  With a slight breeze that came up every once in a while conditions felt cool at times out there.  What a welcome change from the oppressive heat we've been experiencing this summer.

Right now (nearly 1:30 p.m.) it's only 76F.  Of late it's often been that temperature or higher when we're heading out in the morning.
