Frittering Away Time with a Fritillary

Just off LDR-A
It felt pretty awful when Dr. K, Willow and I did our morning hike; the saving grace was a steady breeze that sometimes crescendoed to a light wind.

We followed our regular route, stopping often for shade and water breaks.  Many breaks, too, were for photo-ops, and I got some good images along the way.

The trilling clack we heard to the east of us belonged to the roadrunner who flew to the crest of the tallest yucca atop 4210 hill.
