Horny Hike

This & next:  ocotillos and clouds
Dr. K and I were like zombies hiking this morning; neither of us got any good sleep because Willow was, first, barking at thunder and, second, having one of her licking the floor episodes.  Dr. K had to give her wheat grass several times during the night.

It was rather hot out in the desert, and we didn't enjoy our trek very much.  We blundered through, though, getting some decent exercise in the process.

Best part of the outing was encountering a Texas Horned Lizard; don't know what he was doing in the Land of Enchantment, but we enjoyed seeing him.

Nice photos of the Texas Horned lizard, especially the ones where you can see its eye.
