Friday Free-For-All

Hazy desert air
The air was rather hazy this morning, the result of the wind rather than a temperature inversion.  We did a long hike on the outer loop road, taking the Crosscut Trail briefly.  We saw a few other hikers in the outback, but no close encounters.  We did have a close encounter with an Ash-Throated Flycatcher, who posed for several photographs before taking off.
