| Tortugas Mountain's western slopes |
Hiking from the Sunset Parking area, that is, which adds approximately a mile to an already long hike. But due to the closure of Geothermal Road we have to park in the Sunset area and hike from there. It's something we used to do all the time anyway, so it's no big deal. The only problem is we're likely to run into more traffic (car and human) on this side of the mountain; though this morning nobody was there.
