23-Degree Start

Pilgrim relief station
It was quite cold when we headed out this morning, but, fortunately, the wind wasn't blowing so it didn't feel unbearable out there.  There were no pilgrims on the mountain, but we did see five or six outdoorsy folks enjoying the environs.  When we were in the lower desert we spotted J.C. and Shaq on the high foothills trail, but we didn't bump into them later.  We did see Greg, though, who offered his standard greeting to Becca:  "Hey, Berta, how are you?"  Becca looked around to see who he was talking to.
Bad air in the valley

Would Becca really say, "Kiss my butt"?
