Around Back of the Mountain

Rugged section of the Organ Mountains
Dr. K, Becca and I did a long hike behind Tortugas Mountain today, and we only saw two men hiking together.  The men overtook us, and when we stood aside to let them pass, we caught a snippet of one man's conversation, something about students staying in the United States and what the government of China is doing concerning its own students.  That was it, though, and after the men were out of earshot we were left to enjoy the blissful silence of the great outdoors.
