Long Trek Under a Blue Sky

Headed for the valley ahead
Today's weather was totally different from yesterday's.  The strong sun forced me to take off my Polarplus vest after a short spell.  Even with a thin windbreaker on I felt too warm.  Becca and I did a lot of bushwhacking this morning, hunting for overgrown single-track trails nearly impossible to find.  On our way back we saw Mr. Tacoma's truck parked in the lineman school area, but that was the only sign of him.  I'm sure he'd already made it to the top of Tortugas Mountain.
