Starting the Week Off Right

Steep section of trail
The best way to start off a Monday-morning hike?  By running into only two joggers during a very long trek.  In the distance across the desert we saw Mr. Tacoma driving his Toyota pickup along the dirt road leading to Tellbrook  Road.  Coming up close behind him was a New Mexico State Police officer in his SUV.  It may have been pure coincidence, of course, but I had the feeling that the cop wanted to catch up to him for some reason.
