Low Country to High

Big decision ahead
Becca and I did an abbreviated hike in the low desert before returning home to shower and finish packing for our trip to the high country.  We've been in Hill Rolls for several hours now, and it's decidedly cooler here in the Sacramento Mountains of southern New Mexico.  Also, it's been overcast all day.  A cold front is supposed to blow in sometime tomorrow bringing with it a chance of rain and snow.  The system will clear out by Wednesday morning so we should be able to get in some good hiking over the next six days.

I'm hoping that we'll get to see some elk and other wildlife on our trip to the high country.
