In Shadow

Striking for the upper foothills
Becca and I did our entire morning hike completely in shadow.  We were in shadow because we started off at 6:00 a.m.  We started at 6:00 because we had to get back by 8:00 because we had workers coming to install three items related to heating/cooling:  a new Mastercool Evaporative Cooler, a new Trane furnace, and a new Rheem water heater.  The water heater guy is still here, but the others have finished and gone already.  Even though Becca and I did a short hike we're glad we were able to get out on the trail, even for an abbreviated trek.
