OMDPNM Redux

This and the next two:  Cane Cholla flowers
Dr. K, Becca and I headed out to the Sierra Vista Trail Norte this morning to do a moderately long hike in Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument.  Although there were no RVs at the campground there was one very large domed tent and several cars in the parking lot.  We ran into quite a few mountain bikers and several women hikers with dogs during our 90-minute trek, but we thoroughly enjoyed our outing despite the traffic.  We got back to the Jeep before the day began to heat up too much.  We're supposed to hit 90F this afternoon, and hotter temps are in the offing.
