Cool, Breezy and Humid

Standout
Becca and I did a longer hike on the west side of Tortugas Mountain this morning, and when we were nearly done we ran into our friend Jimmy who had parked his truck and walked an eighth mile out of his way just to greet us; he was headed for a hike on the far side of Geothermal Road.  An awfully kind gesture on his part; we hadn't seen each other in perhaps two weeks or more.  We had a good long gab while we walked back to the vehicles, extending the palaver even more while Becca waited in the back of my CR-V, impatient to get on the road to head home where a certain treat was waiting for her.
