Bad Politics Antidote

Clouds at start
When you're absolutely disgusted with the politics of your country--as I was this morning--a decent hike into the northern Chihuahuan Desert is often a good antidote to bad feelings.  It was for me today.  Returning home and hearing the news, though, has put me into a bad mood immediately.  Far better to be like Becca, who, by nature, pays no attention at all to the governing of this sad country of ours.  Wish I could be more like her, living moment-to-moment and not worrying about the insane politicians who seem to get elected over and over again, unconditionally enjoying the smells, sights and sounds of nature.
