Christmas Trek

Road along the upper flatland
Started off about an hour later than usual this morning owing to the Christmas festivities:  breakfast and exchanging presents.  Just as well because the 23F (feels like 18F) temperature had warmed to freezing (32F) and the wind had died down.

The wind picked up again, however, about midway through our trek up to First Arroy, where we popped inside for a water break and a chance for me to take a few photos.

Headed back on our normal route (LDR) to the high flatland and the waiting CR-V.  We saw no other nature lovers during our sojourn this morning.
