Had There Been Wind

Soaptree Yucca in Second Arroyo
It was quite cold this morning (28F), but because there was zero wind we didn't freeze our butts off on our daily trek up to Second Arroyo and back.  In the arroyo we got Willow to lie in the sun rather than shade so she wouldn't be cold--and, indeed, there was no sign of shivering.

Although there were two vehicles parked in the lot at the corner of Tellbrook and Sonoma Ranch Road we saw no other outdoor enthusiasts in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert.

A good time was had by all today.
