Back From Second Arroyo

This and the next:  same tree along LDR
We trekked up to Second Arroyo on a fairly pleasant morning, hiked eastward in the arroyo, found a place to rest and drink water before heading back.

Of course I was taking photos both going and coming, though I'm not particularly enthused about any of them.

We saw no one else out there this morning, and there were no vehicles parked at the Tellbrook/Sonoma Ranch corner lot.

I really like the second black-and-white photo that you posted here, Packrat.

I'm enjoying your hike photos into your part of our desert sands, especially the serene plant-scapes of mesquite, yucca, and creosote bush. Each week I do the same as you, only across town near Picacho. Glad I found your blog!
