Clouds and Cool Breeze

Near the center a distant arroyo we've explored in the past
It rained last night, through the overnight hours and into the early morning.  We had to wait until about 8:15 to set off on our morning trek.  This rain is the remnants of Hurricane Nora, which headed up the Baja peninsula recently.  As a result the cloud cover, combined with a cool breeze, made conditions bearable despite the very high humidity.

We crossed into the Tellbrook Arroyo near where we saw Coyotes yesterday and bushwhacked through the desert near Tortugas Mountain.  It was beautiful out there.

Willow and Frio enjoyed themselves in the cooler weather, and they wanted to stay longer than I did.  I accommodated them a bit before we headed back into the upper flatland and the waiting CR-V.
