Las Moscas

Datura
It didn't feel too hot when Willow, Frio and I started off this morning, but things warmed up rather quickly as we trekked up to First Arroyo and back.  We're headed for a high of 97F this afternoon.

The most annoying feature of the hike had to do with insects yet again; the flies were omnipresent, pestering all three of us as we plodded along through the sandy dirt road, which, as I mentioned yesterday, was all churned up by a large group who passed through a few days ago.

We trudged up LDR to the upper flatland and the waiting CR-V, glad to get back inside for the drive home.
