Early Start

At the side of LDR-A
We got an early start this morning, and it felt pretty cold out there; the temp was 36F with a windchill of 30F.  I kept gloves and ear band on during the entirety of our trek.

Both Frio and Willow were well behaved today, which made for a pleasant hike.  They seemed perfectly happy with the weather.

We did our regular trek, enjoying the sounds and sights of the Chihuahuan Desert in early February.  Only one jackrabbit encounter today, and neither Heeler seemed inclined to pursue.
