Prickly Pear

Both Willow and Frio were on their very best behavior today because I told them they wouldn't be able to watch the Superbowl if they misbehaved. That threat kept them in line.
We did our normal hike today, and the weather treated us just fine despite an early morning chill. Never had to cover my ears, and my hands were gloved for only a short time.
We saw a lot of birds out there today, but no land-based critters.
