Comes the Heat

April centerfold, Playbun
We got an early start on our morning trek today, and we were able to beat the heat; it's supposed to reach 91F this afternoon, far above normal for this time of year.

Also, we got in a trek before the wind started picking up.  We're under a Red Flag warning until 8 p.m.--strong winds coupled with very low humidity means increased risk of fire.

Heelers were excellently behaved during our hike, but weren't ideal on the ride to and from our hiking locale; they overreacted to dogs walking their peoples.
