Meeting the Pack

Exploring the forest around our property
We did an exploration of the forest around our property this morning, both Heelers off lead.  Both Willow and Frio loved it, and they were very good at never getting too far out of sight.

The reason they were off lead was our belief that we might encounter the Heelers we met yesterday, and we didn't want our dogs getting leash aggressive.

We'd already held a meet-and-greet at our front yard, Willow and Frio inside the fence, four Heelers and an Aussie outside.  It went really well.  I had little doubt that if we'd met up with them again the meeting would go well.  However, we didn't see them during our outing.  Nor did we see them again while Dr. K and I were doing yardwork around our place.  We're guessing that at least two, if not three, of the Heelers belonged to visitors at Fabian's place.

Ricola!
