Before the Bad Wind

1st 2:  distant views of Tortugas and the Organs
The story of this morning's hike was wind; it wasn't too bad while we were out there, but we're under a High Wind Warning until 8 tonight.

We just came back inside after playing with the dogs in the backyard, and gusts have definitely picked up.  By later this afternoon there will be blowing dust and sand in the air.

High winds in the desert are almost always a bad thing.
