VNH (Very Nice Hike)

Yucca/moon
38F when we started off this morning, with just the hint of a breeze.  Bright sunshine kept the weather conditions quite bearable.

We hiked our usual route again today and saw no humans nor canines, although we did hear what we believed to be Basset Hounds barking.

Our most notable encounters were with birds, and there were plenty out and about on this fine early January morning.

Gangly yucca

Willow, Frio, Dr. K

Old Curved Bill

Tres amigos (Cactus Wrens)

Black-throated Sparrows

Prominent Soaptree Yucca

The rest:  Frio and Willow getting treats

Down the Mountain
